Radical Sportscars is a British manufacturer and constructor of racing cars. The company was founded in January 1997 by amateur drivers and engineers Mick Hyde and Phil Abbott, who built open cockpit sportscars which could be registered for road use and run on a track without modification.

The company have designed their own cylinder block and use existing Suzuki cylinder heads. The two cylinder banks are inclined at 72-degree angle Radical Sportscars. A large quantity of RPE's engines are produced and maintained for use by Radical Sportscars. These engines range from the original 1100cc engines used in Radical's clubsport, up to the very latest RPX 2.7 engine used in the SR8. RPE matches superior engine development with purposely developed engine management systems to deliver unrivalled powertrain performance which is demonstrated throughout the Radical range. Our premium RXC range boasts a 650hp power unit in a V6 configuration, paired with a superb transaxle gearbox developed in partnership with Hewland.
